1Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice: “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it. 4 So I began weeping bitterly because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered; thus he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:1 – 5 NET
The prophetic Scriptures were never meant to be read in isolation…
When a person looks at a jigsaw puzzle before it is assembled, all they see is a big mess. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to anything. Start putting the pieces together, however, and a clearer picture begins to emerge.
Bible prophecy is the same way. Many people want to jump right into the book of Revelation and try to figure out what it means. What many fail to understand is that the Revelation is the culmination of all that came before it. It’s only one piece of the puzzle. You can’t see the whole picture by looking at only one piece. What about Daniel? What about Jesus? If we don’t understand what they had to say, we will have a difficult time understanding what the Revelation is seeking to tell us. But how do they all fit together?
In this message, I draw a line between Daniel, Jesus, and the Revelation. By following the narrative, we can see that they are all telling us the same story. I hope you find it enlightening.

We need to be so familiar with the narrative of the end times that we can intelligently explain it to others. That is an important part of our ministry as those who are living in the Reign.
