What does it mean for everything to belong to the Lord?
It means everything belongs to the Lord.
Every man, woman, and child regardless of race, color, or location are His.
Every rock, hill, mountain, and valley is His.
Every dog, cat, fish, and bird belong to Him.
Why?
Because He made and established them all for Himself.
That means that everything is sacred and nothing is to be taken for granted. It also means that, at best, we are merely custodians. It also indicates that we will surely give an account of how well we stewarded His possessions. This is something to be seriously considered by all who are living in the Reign.
