Angels in the Bible

Angels are prominent in the Bible, mentioned some 300 times. They seem to play a significant role in God’s program (Psalm 103:20) and figure prominently in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ (see Luke 1:26 – 38, Matthew 1:18 – 25, and Matthew 4:11 for examples). Hebrews tells us they are sent to us as ministering spirits (Hebrews 1:13 – 14). With all of that considered, maybe we shouldn’t think it strange if we actually encounter them as we serve the Lord.

New Podcast Series

On my podcast, Living in the Reign, I am going to spend a few weeks on the topic of angels. The thing is, I will not be sharing as one who has simply studied the topic in the Bible. I will also share some significant encounters I have had with angelic beings. I’m sure you will find it interesting. The first episode goes live on Monday morning, January 6, 2025.

Another Normal Part

Experiences with angels should not be thought of as alien or far out. Encounters with the angelic are another normal part of our experience as we pursue living in the Reign.
