Preview of Coming Attractions

The various reactions you get when you announce that you are going to talk about the end times is nothing short of interesting. It can be anything from absolute terror to passive indifference.

I’m not sure which one is worse.

We get these varied reactions for a couple of reasons. For one, a lot of what we have been taught about the end of days is either misguided or flat-out wrong. For another, we have failed to see that the end times message is the story of God from the beginning right through to the end of the Book. God has never kept it a secret as to what He has been aiming for since He created the earth and man to inhabit it. We also find that the First Testament is a full-on preview of coming attractions that not only points to Christ’s first coming, but also to His second.

In this message, we go on a whirlwind tour that hits the highlights of what the Old Testament has to say about the end of days. I hope you enjoy it.

For those of you that would prefer the audio version, you can download it at Sermon.net.

There is also a study sheet available to help you follow along.

Understanding the end times message is truly critical to anyone intent on living in the Reign.

Blessings!

Many live with the idea that the Lord Jesus Christ could return at any moment, suddenly and unexpectedly. But is that really the case? Read on and see what you think…

Concerning the Return of the King part 1

There are all kinds of voices talking today about the return of our King, Jesus Christ.  Some say He will come prior to the Great Tribulation, others say He will come in the middle of it, while others declare He will return at the end of it.  Then there are the pre-millennialists, the post-millennialists, and the a-millennialists.  Some point to this one as being the anti-christ, others point to someone else.  And the trouble is, they can all argue their point quite convincingly!  So in this post, I want us to quietly consider the first of three important things concerning the return of the King.
