Over the last several decades a phenomenon has arisen in Christian circles known as “prayer warfare.” Based on rather unfortunate interpretations of Scripture passages such as Matthew 16:19 and Mark 3:27, this form of prayer attempts to dislodge or defeat evil spirits in a specific locale or situation so the work of God can progress. I have come to seriously doubt, however, that this is the way we are to approach things in the Kingdom of God. I believe the Scriptures show us a much better way.
The votes have been cast. The political commercials are now silent. Officials have been elected into offices of political power. But, now that it is all said and done, who is really in charge?

If the Lord has anything less than full custody of our lives, can it truly be said that we are living in the Reign?
We have been seeing how the Kingdom came in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. As we observe these things, there are at least two important conclusions we can draw.
