A Poem for the Reign

I would like to share with you a poem the Lord gave me some years ago. Based on Ephesians 2:6 – 7, it speaks of our place both present and future in the Reign of God.

We are Enthroned with Christ

We are enthroned with Christ

For we are one with Him

Joined by His Spirit within

We are His Body, the Church

  • We are enthroned with Christ

    How far below our possessions

    Not to sit with Him is session

    Enforcing the decisions of God

  • We are enthroned with Christ

    Seated far above all

    Able to overcome every wall

    That throws up its resistance

  • We are enthroned with Christ

    From what a place to pray!

    Looking at every fray

    Through the eyes of the Victor

  • We are enthroned with Christ

    Both present and future prize

    At the coming Day we’ll realize

    We will reign with Him forever!
