Seeing Ourselves

“…seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror…” 2 Corinthians 3:18 NRSV

When we look upon Christ and His glory, in a very real way we are seeing ourselves. What we see in Him is God’s desire for each and every one of us without exception (Romans 8:29). As we behold Him in contemplation, anything contrary to Him is exposed so it can be dispensed with. Anything that is in harmony with Him is accentuated and strengthened. The goal of this never-ending process is to shape our lives into what we see in Jesus Christ.

Today, may we fully cooperate with the Lord’s transforming process as we go about our day living in the Reign.

Do You Know How to Walk?

The title of this post may seem like a strange question to ask.  I’m assuming, of course, that the majority of you know how to walk physically, unless some disability prevents you from doing so.  Those of us seeking to live our lives under the government of God, however, are called to walk a particular walk.  Do you know how to walk in that way?
