Daily
All of God’s people need daily renewal from the Lord. Too often, however, we merely go through the motions. We read from our little devotional books. We read our daily Scripture passage. We may even say a prayer to start our day. All of this is good, but we can do all of them without coming into vital contact with the Lord. That will keep our spiritual lives stunted and weak. It will also keep us from ever truly knowing our God.
Hearing
This is why it is important for each and every one of us to learn to hear God’s voice. Only through hearing the voice of the Lord will we be able to come into vital contact with Him. Having that contact is what will renew our minds and transform our lives. Believe me, learning to hear to Lord speak will put an end to our quiet time being dull and boring!
Positioning
Learning to hear the Lord speak will position us to have a more vibrant relationship with Him. This, in turn, will bring us the daily renewal we so desperately need. It will also bring us into a whole new experience of living in the Reign.
