A Million Miles Away

Have you ever had one of those times when the Lord feels like He is a million miles away?

I have.

For me, if I am not connected to the Lord I have absolutely nothing. The good news is that there is never actually a time when we are not connected to Him. The Lord is always with us because His Spirit is always in us. Being conscious of that connection is another thing altogether. It’s one thing to walk in an awareness of God’s Presence. It’s another thing entirely to walk by sheer faith without any supporting evidence.

Walk in Truth

This is why we must walk in the truth. The truth remains the same regardless what we are feeling or experiencing at the moment. If we will simply walk in the truth by faith, we will eventually begin to experience the reality.

Always with Us

The Lord is always with us. We need to let our hearts rest in that. This truth will see us through every storm. It will calm us in times of perplexity. When we rest in the Lord’s faithfulness He will see us through no matter what comes our way. His abiding Presence is the great privilege of all who are living in the Reign.
